MileStory ("MileStory," "we," "our," or "us") is a social platform that allows runners to document and share their training journey toward races and personal milestones. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices available to you.
When you create an account, we collect:
Your password is securely handled by our authentication provider. MileStory never stores or has access to your password.
We store the content you choose to create, including:

Deleting your account permanently removes your profile, posts, comments, journeys, follows, imported activities, and connected fitness-service credentials, except where retention is required by law or necessary for fraud prevention, security, or backup recovery.

MileStory is not intended for children under the age of 13 (or the minimum age required by local law).
If we learn that a child has created an account in violation of this policy, we will delete the account promptly.
MileStory uses industry-standard safeguards, including secure authentication, encrypted connections, and database row-level security to help protect your information.
However, no online service can guarantee absolute security, and you use the Service at your own risk.
If you access MileStory outside the United States, you understand that your information may be processed and stored in countries where our service providers operate.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.
When significant changes are made, we will update the Effective Date above and, where appropriate, notify users within the app.
