MileStory respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects our community to do the same. Users should only upload content they own or have permission to share.
Ownership of Your Content
You retain ownership of the photos, captions, comments, and other content you post on MileStory.
By uploading content, you represent that you either own it or have the legal right to publish it.
Copyright Infringement
If you believe that content on MileStory infringes your copyright, you may submit a copyright notice requesting that the material be removed.

Your Notice Should Include
- Your full name.
- Your contact information.
- A description of the copyrighted work.
- The URL or sufficient information identifying the allegedly infringing content.

Our Response
Upon receiving a valid copyright complaint, MileStory may:
- Investigate the report.
- Temporarily disable access to the reported content.
- Remove infringing material.
- Notify the user who uploaded the content.
- Take additional action if repeated infringement occurs.
Counter-Notification
If your content was removed because of a copyright complaint and you believe the removal was made in error, you may submit a counter-notification.
Your counter-notification should include:
- Your name and contact information.
- Identification of the removed content.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you believe the content was removed due to a mistake or misidentification.
- Your consent to the jurisdiction of the appropriate court if required under applicable law.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
Repeat Infringers
MileStory may suspend or permanently terminate accounts that repeatedly infringe the intellectual property rights of others.
False Claims
Knowingly submitting false copyright complaints or counter-notifications may expose you to legal liability under applicable law.
