MileStory Community Guidelines

Effective Date: July 21, 2026

Every mile has a story.

MileStory was built to celebrate progress—not perfection. Whether you're running your first mile or your fiftieth marathon, we want this to be a place where runners support each other and enjoy sharing their journey.

Be Respectful

Treat every member of the MileStory community with respect. Healthy discussion is welcome. Personal attacks are not.

Do not:

Keep It Running Related

MileStory is built around running, races, training, fitness, and personal progress.

Off-topic posts may be removed if they disrupt the community experience.

No Hate Speech

Content that promotes hatred, discrimination, or violence toward individuals or groups is not allowed and may result in immediate account removal.

No Pornography or Explicit Content

Do not upload sexually explicit images, videos, or other adult content.

No Illegal Activity

Do not use MileStory to promote or facilitate illegal activity, fraud, scams, or the sale of prohibited goods or services.

No Spam

Please avoid:

Respect Copyright

Only upload content that you own or have permission to share.

If you believe someone has uploaded your copyrighted work without permission, please contact us.

Reporting Problems

If you see content that violates these Guidelines, please use the in-app reporting tools. Reports help us keep MileStory welcoming and safe for everyone.

How We Enforce These Guidelines

Depending on the severity of a violation, we may:

  1. Remove content.
  2. Issue a warning.
  3. Temporarily suspend an account.
  4. Permanently remove an account.
  5. Report illegal activity to appropriate authorities when required.

Serious violations—including child exploitation, credible threats of violence, terrorism, or other criminal activity—may result in immediate account termination without prior warning.

Help Build a Better Community

MileStory exists because runners encourage one another. Celebrate milestones, offer advice, cheer for first-time runners, and remember that every runner started somewhere.
